Open Science is leaving a deep imprint on the communication of science that takes place today. This work aims to discuss some aspects of Open Science as an umbrella term, and how researchers envisage it in Portugal, Spain, and Brazil. We address the cycles of production, dissemination, and evaluation of science. This moving target ranges between the parameters that correspond to current and traditional views while anticipating the future enable by digital technology.
