Finn Frandsen and Winni Johansen, professors at Aarhus University, are the editors of the new handbook Crisis Communication just been published by De Gruyter Mouton in Berlin. The handbook consists of 28 chapters on crisis management and crisis communication and gives the reader an advanced introduction to the key concepts, models, theories and debates within this vibrant field.

From the textual to the inter-societal level, the handbook covers the whole spectrum of crisis communication research and practice. Classical areas of crisis management and crisis communication are updated, reframed and renewed, and new and under-researched fields of study are presented.

The handbook documents the need for crisis management and crisis communication research at business schools and universities. It is an obvious book to consult for academics and practitioners who want to learn more about research in organizational crisis management during the COVID19.
