Éditée par le Gresec (Groupe de recherche sur les enjeux de la communication), cette revue scientifique aborde les processus d’information-communication dans leurs développements, mutations et inscriptions sociales, politiques et économiques. Elle privilégie les travaux relevant d’approches théoriques critiques et fondés sur des études empiriques, rendant compte de recherches conduites par des auteurs confirmés, des doctorants ou de jeunes chercheurs.

Jurnal Pengajian Media Malaysia, JPMM (Malaysian Journal of Media Studies) is a peer reviewed interdisciplinary journal in media and communication studies. Contributions of research articles, theoretical papers, concepts paper as well as article/ book reviews  in media and communication studies and related fields are welcomed. The journal provides an intellectual venue for academics, postgraduate students and practitioners in the field of human services to debate on the various issues in the area of studies aforementioned. Authors can submit their manuscripts in either English or Malay language.

Mass Communication and Society ’s mission is to publish articles on a wide variety of topics that advance mass communication theory, especially at the societal or macrosocial level. It publishes original articles and book reviews on topics related to mass media practices, content, effects, messages, and research methods. The journal welcomes both qualitative and quantitative approaches, with a strong preference for social-scientific perspectives. MATRIZes é a revista científica do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ciências da Comunicação da Universidade de São Paulo. Lançada no segundo semestre de 2007, é destinada à publicação de estudos que tenham por objeto a comunicação em seus múltiplos aspectos e dimensões. Acolhe pesquisas teóricas e empíricas sobre fenômenos comunicacionais, meios de comunicação e mediações comunicativas nas interações sociais.

Media and Communication is concerned with the social development and contemporary transformation of media and communication and critically reflects on their interdependence with global, individual, media, digital, economic and visual processes of change and innovation. Contributions ponder the social, ethical, and cultural conditions, meanings and consequences of media, the public sphere and organizational as well as interpersonal communication and their complex interrelationships. The journal focuses on the application and advancement of qualitative and quantitative methods of media and communication research, but also encourages scholars to submit manuscripts that introduce innovative and alternative theoretical perspectives.

This peer-reviewed scientific journal publishes theoretical and empirical papers and essays and book reviews that advance an understanding of the role and function (and dysfunctions) of mass media and/or media effects and processes in a global world. Submissions may have a cultural, world systems, psychological or sociological orientation but must focus on mass communication at a global or transnational level. All theoretical and methodological perspectives are welcomed.

Journal of Media Critiques, is an international peer-reviewed publication in which various critical approaches on media and mass communication come together plus developments in cultural, social and political sphere are discussed. Journal of Media Critiques is an interdisciplinary Open Access journal, while centered in communication, is open and welcoming to contributions from the many disciplines such as information and informatics, social sciences and approaches that meet at the crossroads that is communication study. Official language of the journal is English and there is no APC or charging policies for publishing, it’s all free.
