Information Research

Information Research is now in its twenty-eighth year of existence and many things have changed over the past twenty-eight years: the journal was invented in 1995, when the Internet and the World Wide Web were in their infancy and the idea was to create a journal that covered the information disciplines in general. At the time that meant information science, librarianship, information systems, archives and records management, and information management. Those disciplines have now changed significantly and new information-related disciplines and sub-disciplines have emerged.

Information Technologies and International Development (ITID)

Revistas CientíficasTecnologías de la comunicación

Informative, lively, and provocative, Information Technologies and International Development (ITID) focuses on the intersection of information and communication technologies (ICT) with international development. ITID aims to create a networked community of leading thinkers and strategists to discuss the critical issues of ICT and development, an epistemic community that crosses disciplines (especially technologists and social scientists), national boundaries, and the North and South hemispheres. The audience for ITID comes from academia, the private sector, NGOs, and government. It attracts readers interested in the "other four billion" – the share of the world population whose countries are not yet widely connected to the Internet nor widely considered in the design of new information technologies.

Information Technology and Management

Revistas CientíficasTecnologías de la comunicación

Information Technology and Management explores the many different technologies inherent in the field of information technology and their impact on information systems design, functionality, operations, and management. The journal takes a broad view of information systems as systems that not only include machines but human beings as well. As a result, the journal is an important outlet for studies concerning the man/machine interface, human factors, and organizational issues. Moreover, the journal explores the managerial issues and the strategic issues that arise from the management of information technology.

Information, Communication & Society
